I grew up and lived in France for 20 years so I had extensive opportunities to travel and shoot the county. I was born in Alsace in the North-East but I also lived in Paris. Mountains, Sea & Ocean, stunning architecture, neat cuisine, valleys, lakes, cliffs, scenic villages, etc… France owns everything for making a travel photographer happy. Less known and visited by foreigners, the French over-sea territories are jewels too.
For drone junkies be careful when flying in France, drone laws are strict and it is strictly forbidden to fly over cities. Besides famous nice cities such as Marseilles, Paris or Lyon, I recommend going to explore Provence, Bretagne, Dordogne, Lot and Alsace which are full of picturesque villages and where you will have the chance to discover the real France (gastronomy, architecture, friendly people, etc…)
